Formerly a singer in rock and roll & alternative rock bands in the Midwest, I was also an equestrian who was blessed to have my first horse when I was 11 years old (a huge thanks to Mom and Dad).  Riding almost became my profession, but world travels and a life in the arts called louder.

Antsy for success as a rock singer, I decided to audition for a role in “The Elephant Man” and was cast as Nurse Sandwich by Len Kluge, Danny DeVito’s former roommate and Obie Award winner for his performance with Mr. DeVito in “The Man with the Flower in His Mouth”. I fell wildly, madly in love with acting and the magical synergy that occurs when a group of artists join forces to create theater.

After being cast in several more plays, I moved from the Midwest to New York City to take a deep dive into the craft of acting.  Since this fateful leap to the Big Apple, I have performed in numerous film, television and theatrical productions, as well as commercials.

Theatrically, I am currently playing a lead role in the new play "A Groundbreaking Achievement of Outrageous Importance That People Scroll By, Barely Impacted" at Theaterlab NYC.  Other recent credits include the NETFLIX film “The After Party”, with Blair Underwood and the rapper KYLE, where I played the mother to the lead (KYLE).  I also had a lead role in an award-winning short film, “Heavy Feathers”, which enjoyed a U.S. and international film festival run, winning "BEST CAST - Drama" in the "New York Women in Film & Television Online Shorts Festival" in March 2022 and “#1 Short” in a women’s festival in South Africa.  I also had the immense honor of being cast in the award-winning play “The Exonerated” by Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen in the role of real-life death row exoneree Sunny Jacobs.

Determined to make my dream of taking an East African safari a reality, I am learning Swahili.  Karibu nyumbani…Welcome to my home : )

"Heavy Feathers"

"Heavy Feathers" was among 8 shorts that were selected from over 200 submissions for the SAG-AFTRA Short Film Showcase. These 8 films were graced with the talents of Oscar Award winner Melissa Leo and Oscar Nominees Burt Young and Sally Kirkland. Truly an honor that "Heavy Feathers" was selected among them!

Artificial intelligence has arrived and Brooklyn University students are using it to cheat in confounding and futuristically troubling ways. The Assistant Dean is begging The Executive Dean to provide guidance, but how can direction be given for a technology that evolves every 0.5 seconds? Is higher education any match for AI? Or is Brooklyn University on a one-way trip into madness?
